Have just returned from a brilliant stay at this hotel, we have been holidaying in Argassi for a number of years and Contessa is the best hotel in this resort without a doubt. It is spotlessly clean and all the staff are really friendly. The rooms are spacious and what a delight to have a proper bath and shower after some of the places where we have stayed and you spend half the time trying to stop the water from going everywhere.
The owner and his daughters Angela and Alicia are very welcoming and make you feel like one of the family come to stay rather than paying guests and nothing is too much trouble for them. Athina at the pool snack bar is also great.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly be going back again - Bravo to all
See you in September

Brilliant time, GEMMA and SIMON you were great entertainment, you made our holiday so much more enjoyable.
The CONTESSA was such a great place, well located, a life saver from the Admiral that was vile and not a place we were able to stay in for more that 1 hour.
The rooms are clean, modern and have very friendly staff. The entertainment - SIMON AND GEMMA are a talented couple, funny, entertaining and they give 100% to the job. Sadly I think they will be snapped up by someone and will be surprised if they are there next season. The hotel pool is lovely and the pool bar serves every drink imaginable and the food is second to none. The place is run very well and very hygenic.
Contessa does do a breakfast in the main hotel, fabulous view, but it isnt really for us brits, some creamy looking thing and a cold egg?? but that is the only negative comment i can make! literally opposite (a 2 second walk) is the Pheonix, serving a variety of breakfasts, and for 4 euros you can get a full english, tea or coffee, toast and Juice!

Went to Argassi for two weeks but stayed at a nearby hotel wished we had stayed at the Contessa. We went to the Conntessa every night to watch the best entertainment in Argassi. From Angela to the barman Lorenzo we were made very welcome even though we did not stay there. The entertainment was provided by the outstanding duo of MR SIMON LOWE and MISS GEMMA MARQUEZ. There was bingo , deal or no deal and of course Gemmas quiz.Thank you all for making our holiday a wonderful one and hope to see you again. Alan Deb Dan (mr sizzle) and Kirsty from Cannock

| Just had a holiday of a lifetime in Zante. Stayed at the wrong hotel though........... Two days in the holiday was told about the Contessa and that they put on good entertainment. We thought we would give it a go.....well we ended up there every night. What a selection of really good stuff to see and do. From quizzes to shows, bingo to kareoke, they had the lot...even kids disco and clubs. Congratulations Contessa you have certainly got it right and we will be back next year. Thanks Angela for being the perfect host and thanks Simon and Gemma for entertaining us so well. See you all soon. Pauline and Mike | |

| We went on holiday for two weeks, the last week in may and the first week in june, whilst we were there we bumped into two really nice people who said they were doing a seasons entertainment at the Contessa hotel.
We went to the hotel and found it excellent, all the bar staff were warm, freindly and polite, the food was of the highest quality, top marks to haris the chef, angela was warm, freindly, she took time to show us round the hotel, the rooms were of a very high standard, like a palace commpared to were we were stopping, ( the admirals, part of the captains and commodore, not recommended).
The entertainment deserves top marks, there is something for everyone, entertainment for the children during the day, and on the evening there is a quiz, deal or no deal, you can win up to 100 euro, then sit back and enjoy the show, by simon and jemma, there is a different theme everynight, grease, queen tribute, blues brothers, movies, take that, and party night, not one of them should be missed, then theres karoke for everyone to join in and give it a go, i did, this is six nights a week top entertainment, not to be missed.. its simply the best entertainment in argassi
